FANS CAN EXPECT NEW FACES

- By JAMES SMAILES

HULL City owner Acun Ilicali has promised to try to 'make the fans happy' in the January transfer window after admitting the club will look to add to their squad in the new year.

The Tigers remain under a transfer fee restriction imposed by the EFL which prevents them from paying fees for new signings until next summer.

The club managed the restrictions very well in the summer to add a host of new faces including Joe Gelhardt on loan and Oli McBurnie, with both making a telling impact on the season so far.
