We will not let Article 370 return, says Shah in Maha

Neither Congress leader Rahul Gandhi nor his future generations will be able to bring back Article 370 that gave special status to Jammu & Kashmir, Union home minister Amit Shah said on Friday, attacking the Opposition in the run up to the Maharashtra elections.
Speaking at a campaign rally in western Maharashtra's Sangli, Shah alleged the Congress was supporting the National Conference in its endeavour to restore Article 370, which was abrogated in 2019. "From this land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, I am telling you Rahul baba that neither you nor your fourth generation will be able to restore Article 370. Every child of the country is ready to fight for Kashmir," Shah said.
His comments came days after the Jammu & Kashmir assembly passed a resolution seeking restoration of the special status, triggering chaos in the House.
Addressing the rally for ruling Mahayuti candidates Sudhir Gadgil and Sanjay Kaka Patil, Shah said Opposition leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Sharad Pawar had opposed the nullification of Article 370.
