Table CAG reports within 48 hrs: BJP cautions AAP

The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday warned the Aam Aadmi party (AAP)-led Delhi government that it will move the high court and hit the streets if the pending Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports are not tabled in the legislative assembly in the next 48 hours.

The BJP also accused the AAP of "deliberately suppressing" the CAG reports.

The AAP did not respond to HT's queries for a response.

The BJP's "ultimatum" to the AAP comes a day after lieutenant governor VK Saxena wrote to chief minister Atishi to convene a special sitting of the Delhi legislative assembly immediately to table the 14 pending reports.
