Raj Cong to follow K'taka model, focus on 'poor-friendly' schemes

The Rajasthan Congress will follow the Karnataka model and fight the assembly elections with a focus on the Ashok Gehlot-led government's "poor-friendly" schemes, the party announced on Friday.

Setting a target of winning 156 seats in the 200-member assembly, the party also said that the first list of candidates will likely be released by the last week of September or the first week of October. Elections in the state are scheduled to be held later this year.
