Kejriwal launches 24x7 water project

The Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi chief minister Atishi on Tuesday launched a pilot project for 24x7 clean water supply at the DDA flats in Rajendra Nagar assembly constituency.

"I went to Rajendra Nagar assembly and drank water from the tap myself, the water is absolutely clean. Now the whole of Delhi will get clean water from the tap 24 hours a day," Kejriwal said in a post on X, where he also shared pictures of him drinking water directly from the water supply tap. The pilot project in Rajendra Nagar colony supplies 24x7 water to 358 households with around 1,600 residents. The area is being supplied water from the Chandrawal treatment plant through Patel Nagar booster pumping station.
