Judicial team inspects violence-hit portions

Members of the judicial commission, constituted to probe the November 24 violence in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, visited the Shahi Jama Masjid on Sunday amid tight security.

Panel head retired Allahabad high court judge Devendra Kumar Arora and retired IPS officer Arvind Kumar Jain visited the areas that witnessed violence, while the third member of the panel, former IAS officer Amit Mohan Prasad, was not present during Sunday's visit.
The panel members did not respond to any media queries during the visit in the morning.
