2 students found dead at Ashoka Univ: Police

Two students studying at Ashoka University in Sonepat, Haryana were found dead at the varsity's campus, police officers said on Saturday, adding that the two deaths do not appear to be linked.
The first student, 20, was from Telangana and was pursuing his undergraduate degree from the university.
The student allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the 10th floor of the university's building on Friday night, police said.
The second student, 19, was a resident of Bengaluru and was found unresponsive near the university's main gate in the early hours of Saturday.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital by the varsity's infirmary team, but was declared dead on arrival.
Police said they received two separate calls from the local government hospital regarding the death of two students - the first at 10pm on Friday, and the second at 2.30am on Saturday.
Officers said inquest proceedings have been initiated under section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
