Trio arrested for firing at MLA’s aide

Police arrested three people, including the shooter, in connection with the shooting of Samresh Singh alias Guddu at Khau Gully in Jamshedpur late Thursday night, officials said on Saturday, adding that an investigation was ongoing to catch the mastermind and conspirators. Samresh Singh is the representative of Chakradharpur MLA Sukhram Oraon.
“A SIT was formed, headed by CCR deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Manoj Thakur, after Samresh Singh was shot in Bistupur late Thursday night. The SIT arrested the main shooter, Badal Prasad alias Kala, a resident of Bajrang Tekri in Bagbera, Mohammad Wajid alias Habloo from Kitadih Gadiwan Patti, and Pawan Kumar from Kitadih Trimurti Chowk.
