SC Refuses to Interfere in HC Order on Industrial Town in Jamshedpur

The Supreme Court (SC) has refused to interfere in the Jharkhand high court (HC) order, which declined to hear a petition challenging the Jharkhand government's notification to form an 'industrial town' in Jamshedpur until the final verdict on an ongoing petition pending in the apex court since 2018.
JAMSHEDPUR: The Supreme Court (SC) has refused to interfere in the Jharkhand high court (HC) order, which declined to hear a petition challenging the Jharkhand government's notification to form an 'industrial town' in Jamshedpur until the final verdict on an ongoing petition pending in the apex court since 2018.
"No case for interference with the impugned order (HC order on WPPIL No: 2636/2024) is made out. The SLP is dismissed," stated the Supreme Court order on February 12, a copy of which is with HT.
