Jharkhand's criminal networks are sourcing arms and ammunition from Pakistan via drone drops in Punjab’s Moga district, a racket exposed after the arrest of five gang members, including a woman, Ranchi senior superintendent of police (SSP) Rakesh Ranjan said on Thursday.

“Those arrested include Inamul Haq alias Bablu Khan, Ravi Anand alias Singha, Mohammad Shahid alias Afridi Khan, Mohammad Seraj alias Madan, and Riya Sinha —all residents of Ranchi and Khunti. Upon detailed interrogation, the arrested individuals revealed that Sujit Sinha and Prince Khan import these weapons and ammunition from Pakistan via drones through Moga (Punjab),” SSP Ranjan said.
