DC JHA DIRECTS INDUSTRIES TO HOLD TALKS WITH LABOUR UNIONS

Deputy commissioner of Bokaro, Ajay Nath Jha, on Saturday directed all private and government-run industrial establishments in the district to conduct regular meetings with labour unions, in a bid to foster better industrial relations and ensure timely redressal of workers’ issues, officials said.
The directive comes in the wake of a protest at Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS), where workers staged a gate blockade over unmet demands.
