Country not run by any religious text, but Constitution: Tirkey

State agriculture, animal husbandry and cooperative minister Shiipi Neha Tirkey, while honouring meritorious rural students during Bharat Ratna Late Rajeev Gandhi Pratibha Samman ceremony at Rajkiya +2 School campus in Lapung on Tuesday, underlined the importance of Constitution and asked students to use electronic gadgets to enhance their knowledge.
Turkey said Constitution helped not only run the country but know the fundamental rights.
“This country is not run by any religious text, but by the Constitution. Therefore, it is necessary for today’s young generation to read the Constitution to know their fundamental rights, to know their rights enshrined in the Constitution,” she said.
