With all preparations going on for the publication of the updated draft electoral roll on August l, the state election department on Wednesday said that special camps would run in all block offices and offices of the urban local bodies for inviting claims and objections from electors from August 2nd to September 1 under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).

The period for claims/objections from electors would begin from August land continue till September I during which eligible electors who find their names missing from the draft rolls could apply for inclusion of name by filling up form 6 along with declaration and necessary documents as per rules. Electors who want their name to be transferred or rectified for any errors could also apply by submitting documents.
