CAG REPORT FLAGS HIGH PENDENCY OF DC BILLS, UCS

The state government has a pending detailed contingent ( DC) bills worth ₹9,205.76 crore while pending utilisation certificates (UCs) worth ₹ 70,877 crore as on March 3lst, 2024, as per the report on state finances for year 2023-24 prepared by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India ( CAG), which was placed in the state assembly on Thursday.
The detailed contingent bills (DC) have to submitted against the advance money withdrawn through abstract contingent bills( AC) bills.
