Cabinet renames Atal Clinic after Teresa

{ BJP CALLS THE MOVE ‘PETTY’ } MOHALLA CLINIC LAUNCHED IN 2019 BY BJP GOVT
The Jharkhand cabinet on Thursday approved the renaming of the Atal Mohalla Clinic, a healthcare initiative named after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
It will now be known as the Mother Teresa Advanced Health Clinic, officials familiar with the developments said on Thursday.
Launched in 2019 by the then Raghubar Das-led Bharariya Janata Party (BJP) government, 140 Atal Mohalla Clinics are operational across the state to provide free primary healthcare services to urban residents, especially in under-served areas.
