Three held, 36 booked for killing 25-yr-old man

A 25-year-old man was beaten to death by a mob in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara district on Friday night after his car accidentally collided with a vendor's handcart in Jahajpur market, prompting police to detain three people and book 36 others for murder.
Sitaram Keer, a resident of Tonk, was pulled from his vehicle and brutally assaulted with rods and sticks by a group of 30-40 people despite apologising and offering to pay for damages to the cart, police said.
The incident has sparked tensions in the area. Additional police forces from 10 local stations have been deployed across the town to monitor the situation, which officials described as now being “under control”.
Keer and three friends - Sikandar, Dilkhush, and Deepak - were returning home after attending a function at Jahajpur.
