Green Tribunal Seeks DMF Fund Details Within Four Weeks

The Bhopal-based central bench of National Green Tribunal (NGT) has directed the Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh governments to submit details of the funds collected and their utilisation under the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) for mining-affected people within four weeks.
JODHPUR:
The division bench, comprising judicial member Sheo Kumar Singh and expert member Dr Afroz Ahmad, said, "Details of the funds collected and their utilisation have not been submitted by the respondent. Accordingly, we direct that the details of the funds collected and their utilization may be furnished by the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh."
