Govt Likely To Cancel 2021 SI Recruitment Exam: Official

Rajasthan government will likely cancel the sub-inspector recruitment exam 2021 due to alleged paper leaks in the upcoming cabinet meeting, officials familiar with the matter said.
JAIPUR:
A senior official familiar with the development said that a committee of ministers has already submitted a report recommending the cancellation of the recruitment process.
"Based on this report, the state home department has sent a proposal to the chief minister to cancel the SI recruitment. The final decision was supposed to be taken on Thursday's cabinet meeting but it has now been postponed," the official said, adding that the decision will likely be taken in a week or two.
The alleged paper leak came to light in March after the Rajasthan police busted the sub-inspector recruitment exam 2021.
Recently, the high court instructed the government to make a decision regarding the SI recruitment exam within two weeks. The deadline set by the HC has now passed, and during the next hearing in January, the government is required to present a response along with a status report.
