Barmer Teacher Arrested For 'Controversial WhatsApp Post'

A government school teacher in Barmer was arrested on Saturday for posting a controversial WhatsApp status in connection to the terror attack, which took place at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22 killing 26 people, while another teacher in Sirohi faced disciplinary action on Friday for allegedly sharing a photo of the victims in a school WhatsApp group, police officers aware of the matter said on Saturday.
BARMER:
An advocate in Abu Road was accused of defaming the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) through a post related to the attack, leading to calls for a sedition case to be registered against him on Saturday, they added.
