JAIPUR: A 25-year-old Joginder Singh sat in a corner of an ICU on the second floor of Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital’s trauma centre on Sunday night as he waited eagerly for the morning. His mother, Rukmani Kaur (50), was supposed to be discharged after a five-day-long treatment following an accident.
In a matter of minutes, however, everything changed.
The fire broke out in a store room of the ICU at the largest government hospital in the state.
