He turned 30 on November 1, and in just eight years of acting, Ishaan Khatter has already worked with international filmmakers and bagged a film, Homebound, that’s been selected as India’s official entry to the Oscars this year. Now, the actor's gaze is firmly set on new projects in the West.

Asked how much of his focus is on Hollywood, Ishaan says, “As much as it is here. For me, it's always been about going wherever the good work is. I'm not afraid to step out of my comfort zone, it takes effort, especially when you're an actor based here, but the world is getting smaller. It's a great time, with the global spotlight on India, even in films.”
