Esha says playing intense characters on-screen is 'thrilling and therapeutic'

As she gears up to make her silver screen comeback after a decade, actor Esha Deol says that working on a film "felt like homecoming".

"I enjoyed doing web series and everything in the past couple of years and (it was) different and special. But it's a wonderful feeling returning to the big screen," says the actor, whose upcoming film Tumko Meri Kasam premieres later this month.

The Vikram Bhatt directorial, which also stars Anupam Kher, Adah Sharma and Ishwak Singh, is loosely based on the founder of a chain of fertility clinics.

Esha plays a lawyer in the film. Speaking about the role, the 43-year-old — known for films such as Dhoom (2004), No Entry
