CHENNAI'S MTC WINS TOP AWARD FOR BEST URBAN MOBILITY SERVICE

Chennai dominated this year’s Urban Mobility India Awards, presented by union ‘minister for housing and urban affairs Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday during the concluding session of the annual conference in Gurugram on Sunday.
The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) took the top honour for Best Public Transport System, backed by a ridership that has grown to about 3.33 million passengers a day as of April 2025.
