THREE MAOISTS KILLED IN FIGHT WITH SECURITY FORCES IN GUMLA

Security forces killed three suspected Maoists during an encounter in the Lawadag forest area under Ghaghra police station limits in Gumla district on Saturday, officials said.
According to officials, a joint team of Gumla district police and the Jharkhand Jaguar were conducting an operation in the forest area based on intelligence inputs regarding the presence of members of the Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad (JJMP), a splinter group of the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist), in the area.
