Pragati Yatra: CM Nitish unveils ₹1500-cr projects in Darbhanga

Chief minister Nitish Kumar, during his Pragati Yatra, visited Darbhanga on Saturday and unveiled a series of development projects.
DARBHANGA: Chief minister Nitish Kumar, during his Pragati Yatra, visited Darbhanga on Saturday and unveiled a series of development projects. The CM laid the foundation stones and inaugurated a total of 186 projects approximately valued at ₹1,500 crore. Under this initiative, the inauguration of 89 projects worth ₹935.28 crore and the foundation stone laying of 97 projects worth ₹561.75 crore are included.
The CM's itinerary included key announcements and inspections, focusing on infrastructure, cultural preservation, and urban development.
The CM while inspecting Harahi pond instructed the officials that the three ponds, including Digghi and Gangasagar ponds, should be interconnected. He also instructed them to construct a stepped ghat around it so that people can easily reach the water.
"The beautification and integrated development of Ganga Sagar, Harahi, and Dighi ponds will provide better civic amenities to a large population," the CM announced.
