Ankit Kumar Gupta, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Patna, secured 98.8 percent marks in the 12th examination conducted by CBSE, the results of which were declared on Tuesday.

Akshita Shandilya, a student of St. Michael High School, scored 99% marks in 10th exams.

Regionwise, Patna region ranks 14th in the country with a pass percentage of 82.86%. The girls performed better than boys with a pass percentage of 87.41% against 79.73% of boys.
