LS Speaker Om Birla to inaugurate AIPOC today

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will inaugurate the 85th All India Presiding Officers Conference (AIPOC) in the state capital on Monday.
PATNA:
The two-day conference will have the presence of all the presiding officers from the state assemblies and councils of states and the deputy chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Harivansh.
"It is a matter of pride that Bihar has got the opportunity to host the conference after 42 years. Last time it was held in 1982. This is the third time Bihar is hosting it. The first conference in Bihar was held in 1964," said Bihar legislative assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav, adding that the conference is jointly organised by the Lok Sabha and the host state.
