ED searches 11 locations under PMLA Act; flat sealed in Danapur

Enforcement Directorate conducted raids at multiple locations including in Patna, Nalanda, Ranchi, Kolkata and Lucknow in connection with the NEET-UG entrance exam paper leak case.

PATNA: The ED's action came after it prepared an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) based on the CBI's case. The agency had investigated the large-scale financial transactions and money trail (PMLA ACT) in the case to uncover the extent of the paper leak scams. The raid was on till the time of reporting.

Officials familiar with the matter said the searches were being carried out on the premises related to the mastermind of NEET, Bihar constable recruitment and BPSC TRE paper leak case, Sanjeev Singh alias Lutan Mukhiya and others. Intensifying its probe into different recruitment exam scams, the ED carried out searches simultaneously across 11 locations.
