Train Charts To Be Prepared 8 Hrs Before Departure

The Indian Railways on Sunday said it will advance the preparation of reservation charts from four hours to eight hours prior to a train's scheduled departure time, in a move aimed at providing passengers more clarity and time to make alternative travel arrangements in case their train tickets are not confirmed.
NEW DELHI:
"...The railway board has proposed preparing the reservation chart eight hours before the departure," a statement released by the Indian Railways said.
