Sholay 4K screening cancelled at the 56th IFFI, here's why

Fans of Sholay will have to wait longer to watch the remastered version of the iconic 1975 classic, originally scheduled for a special screening at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
HT City has learnt that the screening has now been called off. The cancellation comes at a time when fans are already grieving the loss of its beloved star Dharmendra. The veteran actor, who played Veeru in Sholay, died on November 24 at the age of 89.
