SC RELAXES BAIL CONDITIONS FOR ASHISH MISHRA IN LAKHIMPUR KHERI VIOLENCE CASE

The Supreme Court on Thursday allowed Lakhimpur Kheri violence case accused Ashish Mishra, son of former Union minister Ajay Mishra, to spend time with his family in Lakhimpur each Saturday (evening) till Sunday (daytime) and then return to Lucknow while on bail.
DEHRADUN/MUSSOORIE: Six people were killed and another was critically injured after a helicopter crashed in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand on Thursday, officials said.
The incident occurred around 8.30 a.m. when the helicopter, en route from Kharsaili to Gangotri Dham, plunged into a gorge about 200-250 meters deep in the Gangnani area. Maneri police station in-charge Manoj Aswal said five passengers and the pilot were killed in the crash while another injured passenger sustained grievous injuries.
