SC Orders Razing of Unlawful Structures in Batla House

The Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to carry out demolition of unauthorised structures falling within an area of over five acres in Okhla's Batla House area, sending a clear message that encroachments on public land will not be spared.
