BAD: The Hyderabad Telugu actor Allu Arjun was questioned for nearly four hours on Tuesday about his role in the Sandhya Theatre stampede, where a woman was killed and her eight-year-old son was injured during the premiere of his film. People involved with the matter said that Arjun was asked 20 questions between 11:05 a.m. and 2:47 p.m. The officers were aware that he answered them and remained cooperative.

He was accompanied by his brother Allu Aravind, father-in-law, and producer Bunny Vasu. Hyderabad's central commissioner of police, Shanash Yadav, Chikkadpally's assistant commissioner of police, Ramesh, and senior inspector Lav interrogated the actor, who has been under scrutiny since the December 4 stampede in the city. On December 4, a 35-year-old woman died and her eight-year-old son was injured at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which was attended by many.

The incident has led to a war of words between Arjun and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister A. Reddy, with the latter accusing him of attending the event despite police denying permission. The actor called the charge an accident.
