ONE ACCUSED DEMANDED ₹50 LAKH FROM SINGER ROCKY MITTAL TO WITHDRAW RAPE ACCUSATIONS

PANCHKULA: Haryana Police have booked six people including a 28-year-old woman, who accused state BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli and singer Jai Bhagwan Mittal alias Rocky Mittal of gang rape in December 2024, for allegedly attempting to extort ₹50 lakh from the latter, officers said on Thursday.

A first information report (FIR) was filed at the Sector 5 police station in Panchkula on Wednesday based on Mittal's complaint, who alleged that the accused demanded ₹50 lakh from him last month to withdraw the accusations levelled against him. So far, two people have been arrested in connection with the case.
