OPPN WALKS OUT OF RS AFTER BJP MP WITHDRAWS HIS QUESTION

Opposition parties led by the Congress walked out from the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday after a Bharatiya Janata Party lawmaker withdrew a question he had put to Union home minister Amit Shah, seeking information about enhancing forensic capabilities in the country in view of the new criminal laws.
The opposition protested after BJP MP Aditya Prasad withdrew the question without explanation, on “whether the government is expanding Central Forensic Science Laboratories (CFSLs) to collect evidence as mandated under the new criminal laws, if so, the details thereof.”
