Viral Video Reveals Shocking Claims
AGRA: An eerie silence prevailed at Islam Nagar of Tedi Bagia area after news broke of the murder of a woman and four of her daughters at a hotel in Lucknow.
The family lived in the locality, which comes under the Trans Yamuna police station limits of Agra. The family's house had remained locked for almost a fortnight as all seven members had been away since December 16, when Mohd Badar, a father of five, was involved in a dispute, locals said.
While Badar, who runs a shop and is one of the prime suspects in the murders, was on the run, his son, Arshad, and the other accused, was in the custody of Lucknow police.
Arshad's wife left him after six months after their marriage because of his aggressive temperament, locals said. "Both Arshad and his father are known for their quarrelsome nature. The family lived a secluded life," claimed some residents of Islam Nagar.
The house is owned by Badar, who once worked in Delhi and returned to Islam Nagar years ago. Before building his house, Badar reportedly owned a plot measuring 100 square yards but sold half of it to a local.
On the other half, he built his house. Badar lived there with his wife, four daughters and son Arshad, a door-to-door vendor.
"Both father and son kept away from their neighbours mostly," said a local.
"I bought half of the property owned by Badar in February 2024 after giving him an advance amount in January. From the money received, they got their house constructed on the remaining 50 square yards. While their house was being built, the family lived on the roof of my house," he stated.
"Neither Arshad nor his father used to go for 'namaz'. But the daughters used to read the Quran," the neighbour said.
