BJP suspends ex-Union minister, and MLC for ‘anti-party’ activities
Hindustan Times Jammu
|November 16, 2025
In a major action soon after achieving a resounding victory in Bihar, the state BJP on Saturday suspended the former union minister R K Singh and BJP MLC Ashok Agarwal from the party for their anti-party activities.
This action has been taken to maintain discipline within the organization, said the official letter clarifying that this action was necessary due to their continued controversial and cross-party rhetoric. Both the leaders have been asked to clarify their stand within a week.
This action has come at a time when the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has won a huge majority in Bihar, but the party had to suffer losses in many seats due to internal strife and rebel candidates.
