China Ready To Play Role In Restoring Middle East Peace: Says Xi

Chinese President Xi Jinping said China is "deeply worried" about the worsening of tensions in the Middle East caused by Israel's military operation against Iran and urged all related parties to de-escalate as soon as possible.
BEIJING:
"China opposes any actions that infringe upon sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of other countries, and deems military conflict no solution," Xi said during a meeting with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Tuesday, according to a Chinese government readout.
