KHARGE TARGETS CENTRE OVER PAHALGAM ATTACK

Congress president and leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge ‘on Tuesday termed the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack an “intelligence failure” and asked the government as why it accepted a ceasefire during Operation Sindoor even when Pakistan was on the back foot and what are the terms of the ceasefire.
Participating in the special debate on Operation Sindoor in the Rajya Sabha, Kharge said Union home minister Amit Shah must take responsibility for the “security lapse” that led to the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives, demanding that accountability be fixed and he should resign.
