JMM to go solo in Bihar, set to contest on 6 seats

The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Saturday said that the party would not contest the Bihar elections as part of the opposition INDIA bloc as it announced plans to contest six constituencies.
Addressing a press conference in Ranchi, JMM general secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya also underlined that the party would assess the status of the ruling alliance in Jharkhand following the results of the Bihar elections. The JMM-led INDIA bloc has been in power since 2019.
