SERVICES GROWTH SLOWS ON SOFTER EXPORT, GLOBAL COMPETITION

Growth in India’s services activity, as measured by the Services Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI), slowed in September as the pace of expansion for orders, exports and employment eased, according to a release from S&P Global on Monday.
The seasonally adjusted HSBC India Services Business Activity Index came in at 60.9, falling from a 15-year high of 62.9 in August.
