NOIDA: Two men were arrested on Sunday over the killing of a 29-year-old Ghaziabad-based man in broad daylight on 130-Metre Road in the Ecotech 3 area of Greater Noida on Friday, officers said, adding that the deceased's brother-in-law had allegedly contracted with his worker to kill the man for ₹15 lakh due to being fed up with his sister's ongoing divorce case with the deceased.
On Friday, around 9am, a police vehicle found Manjeet Mishra, an IT engineer at a government bank in Greater Noida, lying on the road in a pool of blood. At the hospital, doctors declared him brought dead, adding he was shot in the head.
As his family kept calling him to confirm if he reached the office, a police officer replied that Mishra had been shot dead.
