Five Injured in Lift Collapse at Golf Course Road Hotel

The Police Said That the Lift Collapsed Possibly Due to a Mechanical Failure or Poor Upkeep of the Infrastructure at the Hotel
GURUGRAM: Five people were injured when a lift collapsed in a hotel on Golf Course Road in Sector 43, Gurugram. The incident occurred on April 12 at Zen Suites hotel, but a first information report (FIR) was registered only four days later, following a formal complaint by one of the victims, who accused the hotel management of negligence and lack of maintenance.
According to the police, the injured were admitted to a hospital after the lift plummeted from the third floor to the basement. One of the victims, Manjari (goes by a single name), sustained a fracture to her right leg.
