CBI arrests four who put Raj man in 'digital arrest' for 3 months

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested four operatives of an organised crime syndicate that allegedly extorted ₹7.67 crore from a Rajasthan resident by placing him in "digital arrest" for over three months, officials said on Tuesday.
MUMBAI/LUCKNOW: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested four operatives of an organised crime syndicate that allegedly extorted ₹7.67 crore from a Rajasthan resident by placing him in "digital arrest" for over three months, officials said on Tuesday.
Two suspects were apprehended in Mumbai and as many in Moradabad as part of the agency's multi-state investigation termed "Operation Chakra-V".
The arrested individuals have been produced before the competent court and remanded to five days of CBI custody.
