Author Lakshmi Puri's debut novel to get a series adaptation

Former diplomat-turned-author Lakshmi Murdeshwar Puri's debut work will soon find itself acted on the screen.
The critically-acclaimed novel, titled Swallowing the Sun has been acquired by producer Vikram Malhotra's banner Abundantia Entertainment.
Confirming the association on Monday in the Capital, Puri shared, "It is the beginning of a new journey for me as my novel is taking a step towards the screen. Vikram and his team have a remarkable reputation of bringing bold, character-driven stories to life for both films and series. They have varied range and courage that challenges and entertains with scale."
