Won't allow any harm to small entrepreneurs, farmers: Modi

Addressing a gathering in Ahmedabad, before launching projects worth ₹5,400 crore, the PM said he will not compromise on the interests of farmers, cattle rearers, and small-scale industries among others.

“Today in the world, everyone is busy doing politics based on economic interests,” the PM said. “I am saying this on the land of Gandhi... be it the small entrepreneurs, farmers, or cattle rearers of my country, for every- ‘one, I promise you again and again, your interests are paramount for Modi.”

The PM further said that his government will not allow any harm to befall these groups. “No matter how much the pressure may increase, we will keep increasing our strength to withstand it.
