A 24-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Aditya Upadhyay, and his associate Gauravsingh Rajput were arrested on Monday for the alleged gang rape of a 23-year-old woman on Sunday in Jahangirpura area of Surat, police said.

AHMEDABAD: Upadhyay, a leader of Ward-8, was suspended from the party following his arrest.
