NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Tuesday put an end to the controversy surrounding senior designations in the Delhi high court by directing a fresh assessment of all advocates whose application for such designations were deferred or rejected, to be carried out by a fresh committee as per the rules framed by the high court last year.
