For Kailash Kher, music is not just a form of entertainment but one of the purest art forms to educate and reconnect people with their cultural heritage. The 52-year-old singer, known for hits like Teri Deewani, believes that music carries the stories and history of India, and preserving this legacy is essential for future generations.

"What worries me is how music today is largely treated as just a source of entertainment. People are forgetting how deeply it's tied to our identity, our culture, and our history," Kher says. This concern has driven him to pursue a mission beyond his performances: to integrate traditional Indian music education into school curriculums across the country.
