EPFO SUBSCRIBERS CAN NOW ACCESS ALL SERVICES WITH A SINGLE LOG-IN, SAYS MINISTER

Subscribers of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), the retirement-savings manager, can now access ail services through a single log in and steps for approving employees’ requests, such as withdrawals, have been reduced to speed up processing of applications, Union labour minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Thursday.
‘The new measures are part of an ongoing reforms package known as EPFO 2.01, which is expected to be completed by October, the minister said.
Provident funds provide retirement income and a financial safety net for nearly 70-million salaried Indians. It is often the key corpus of lifetime savings of working people.
